DAY
1 Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Cherrapunji

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and begin a scenic drive toward Cherrapunji, passing through rolling hills and lush landscapes. En route, stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake, known for its calm waters and panoramic surroundings.

Continue to visit Elephant Falls, followed by an exploration of the fascinating Arwah Caves, where natural rock formations and fossils can be seen along the cave walls. Witness the dramatic beauty of Seven Sisters Falls and the iconic Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall.

Later, check in to your hotel in Cherrapunji and relax.

DAY
2 Nongriat Living Root Bridge Trek

After breakfast, drive to Tyrna Village, the starting point of your trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Descend stone pathways through dense forests and scenic surroundings to reach Nongriat Village, home to this extraordinary natural bridge shaped over generations.

Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and marvel at this unique example of nature and human harmony. Optional extension to Rainbow Falls is available (at additional cost). After the trek, return to your hotel.

3 Cherrapunji – Dawki – Shillong

Check out from the hotel and proceed toward Shillong, with scenic stops along the way. Visit Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear Umngot River, where you may enjoy a boat ride (optional). Stop at Shnongpdeng for optional water activities.

Continue to the stunning Krang Shuri Falls, known for its turquoise waters and natural pools. Later, visit Laitlum Canyon, offering breathtaking views of deep valleys and rolling hills.

4 Kamakhya Temple Visit – Departure
